These include a comprehensive medical examination as specified by the Consulate's medical forms, an HIV blood test and drugs blood test.
Procedure:
The medical for a Kuwait Visa requires extensive (and expensive!) blood tests.
You should allow one hour for the medical. The Doctor will go through your medical history and then undertake a thorough physical examination consisting of height, weight, urine, vision, examination of your respiratory, cardiovascular, abdominal, neurological and musculoskeletal systems.
The Kuwait Visa Medical includes:
• general medical examination and accompanying report
• chest x-ray
• HIV test
• Syphilis test
• testing for Hepatitis B & C
• Malaria
• filaria
• pregnancy test for women

Locations:
The medical is carried out at GP Matters (24 Buckingham Terrace, Glasgow, G12 8ED) by Dr Carole McAlister and the chest x-ray is carried out at the local private hospital, either BMI Ross Hall or the Nuffield Hospital, we will arrange it for you after or before your medical.
After your Kuwait Visa Medical:
Blood tests and X-Ray results are usually with us within a few days. Please allow 10 to 15 days for your medical to be finalised. This may then be collected, posted, or e-mailed to you.
