Procedure:
You should allow two hours for the medical (including the X-ray). The Doctor will go through your medical history and then undertake a thorough physical examination consisting of height, weight, urine, examination of your respiratory, cardiovascular, abdominal, neurological and musculoskeletal systems.
The Turks & Caicos Islands Visa Medical includes: Requirements • Medical Examination as required
• Blood tests: Hep B, HIV & Syphilis/RPR (15 years and older)
• Urinalysis (2 years and older)
• ECG (40 years and older)
• Chest X-Ray (16 years and older)
• Mantoux/PPD test (15 years and older)
• Drug test (15 years and older)
• Vaccinations - Proof of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Polio, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis are required
Please bring with you:
• A hardcopy of the medical form with Part A completed. This can be downloaded at the top of this page
• Your passport
• Copies of any significant hospital letters, abnormal smear results etc
Locations:
The medical is carried out at GP Matters (24 Buckingham Terrace, Glasgow, G12 8ED). The chest X-ray is carried out at the Nuffield Hospital (25 Beaconsfield Rd, Glasgow G12 0PJ) - 5 min drive from the clinic - we will arrange it for you just after your medical.
After your Turks & Caicos Islands Visa Medical:
Please allow 3-5 working days for your Turks & Caicos Islands visa medical to be finalised. Once complete, it will be emailed to you, and the original document can be collected from reception, posted to you, or sent directly to your agent, if preferred.
