We are a registered OEUK / OGUK Clinic.

We offer competitively priced Offshore Energies UK (OEUK / OGUK) - formerly known as UKOOA - medicals to both large companies and individual clients.

The OEUK / OGUK Offshore Medical is valid for two years and allows you to work in the UK sector / North Sea and the Norwegian sector.

Procedure:
You should allow 30 minutes for the medical.

An OEUK  medical / OGUK medical consists of the following:
Screening questionnaire
Physical examination
Urinalysis (routine urine test)
Weight, Height and Body Mass Index (BMI)
Near distance and colour vision test
Blood pressure and pulse
Audiometry (hearing test)

Please bring with you:
Photo ID, e.g. passport
Any medication you’re taking
Your glasses or contact lenses 

After your OGUK Medical:
Certificates are normally made available on the day of the examination. The certtificate is issued for 2  years.

Cost  - £150

If you need any travel vaccines or malaria tablets, we can provide these at the same time.

We can also provide for an additional cost:
Fit to Train medical
Drug & alcohol urine screening

  1. How long will the OEUK /Offshore Energies UK medical take? You should allow 30-45 minutes for the medical. 
  2. Please bring with you: Photographic ID (Your passport or driving licence). Any medication, doctor/ hospital letters and relevant investigations results.  Your glasses / contact lenses if worn.
  3.  Certificates are normally made available on the day of the examination with copies sent to companies where requested.
  4. Cost: The costs of an OEUK Medical is £150.

 • Completion and discussion of the OEUK medical health questionnaire.
• Physical examination including height, weight and BMI.
• Urine testing (to assess how well your kidneys/ body is working).
• Vision testing (near, distance and colour).
• Audiometry testing (hearing test).
• Some Companies require an additional drug and/ or alcohol screen. Please make sure you understand what your Company requires!.

The OEUK medical will last around 30 minutes.

• Certified photo ID such passport or driving license
• To bring your glasses (and spares) / contact lenses if worn;
• To avoid exposure to loud noise for 16 hrs prior to your appointment
• To bring any medication, doctor/ hospital letters and relevant investigations results 

Yes. For BOSIET and FOET personnel, a valid OEUK medical certificate and an OEUK ‘Fit to Train’ certificate is required to be issued by an OEUK examining doctor.

Please let us know at the time of booking the OEUK medical.

The OGUK certificate is valid for two years.
For medical reasons, it is possible the certificate may be issued for a shorter period of time. 

Yes, as long as the doctor can deem you fit, we will provide you with the certificate at the end of your appointment to take away with you.

The Netherlands and Norway are covered by a normal OEUK medical certificate. If your certificate is restricted, this will not be accepted outside of the UK sector.
Generally, the OEUK medical is accepted as a worldwide indicator of health and fitness of anyone working in the Oil and Gas industry.
