GP Matters offers medical check-ups to individuals and companies alike,
as well as routine medical examinations for: Offshore Medicals (UKOOA /
Oil & Gas UK / Norwegian), Life assurance, LGV / PSV / HGV , Overseas
Visas, pre-employment, fitness to work, etc.

Comprehensive Medical "Check-ups"
- Height, weight and body mass index. Percentage body fat. Waist circumference.
- Full physical examination comprising:
- Cardiovascular system examination including blood pressure check
- Respiratory system including lung function tests/spirometry
- Digestive system examination including stool test for bowel cancer as indicated
- Genitourinary system including urine testing
- Neurological examination including eye testing
- Blood tests: cholesterol profile, liver & kidney function, blood glucose
and full blood count.
- ECG as indicated

"Check-ups" for women incorporate (as indicated)
- Breast examination
- Instruction on breast self examination
- Cervical smear testing

"Check-ups" for men incorporate
(as indicated)
- Testicular & Prostate examination.
- Instruction on testicular self examination
- Blood test for prostate cancer (PSA)

Time will be spent looking at nutrition, exercise and general lifestyle
factors.
Our Medical "Check-ups" can be customised further according to
your exact needs.
The comprehensive medical "check-up" fee is fixed at £550 and
includes a de-brief appointment to discuss the final report.
Tests are included in the fee.
For all other medicals (Offshore medicals, Life assurance, LGV / PSV / HGV , Overseas Visas, pre-employment, fitness
to work, etc.), the fee is £125.
We are "Oil & Gas UK Registered" (previously known as UKOOA) and therefore eligible to issue "Offshore Medical Certificates” in
accordance with the Oil and Gas UK Medical Guidelines. We are also registered
to issue Norwegian Medical Certificates.
